    Mykonos is a fantastic destination to visit nearly all year round, with over 300 sunny days per year. During the summer months right up until September, the weather in Mykonos averages between 25°c and 26°c and often have daily highs of 30°c.

    The Meltimi wind is famous for bringing a much needed refreshing breeze to the island during the hot summer months especially as the rainfull is so low in the summer.

    October sees the weather drop slightly to the low 20s and rainfall increases with the start of Mykonos rainy season leading to a mild but wet winter. During winter Mykonos sees heavy winds which often result in electrical storms. The temperatures can often drop down to 5°c or 6°c.

    Mykonos' landscape is very stony, hilly and almost treeless with only a few olive trees and a few bushes which gives the island a deserted feel when out of the built up areas of the main towns.
